Anyone else having issues downloading apps from the Mac App Store this morning? Or just me?
Genuinely exciting news for the future of the Open Web: Automattic has acquired the plug-in “ActivityPub for WordPress” and hired its developer as well.
For those who don’t know what this means, it means we’re closer to WordPress blogs being something you can follow on ActivityPub using sites – like Mastodon, Micro.blog, and even Tumblr (soon).
So cool to see Everything Everywhere All At Once practically sweep the Oscars last night. That said, if you haven’t, I highly recommend watching Daniels' first film, the surreal and incredible Swiss Army Man. It’s up now on HBO Max.
At that phase in having sinus issues where I just want to eat a giant plate of Buffalo Wings to get things moving.
So many of me and my friend’s interests are colliding on this one: Daniels (directors of Everything Everywhere All At Once) have put together a photoshoot of Jennifer Coolidge for W Magazine…that is a giant Tokusatsu homage.
Digging through an archive of my Last.fm account, I dug up a great song/band I’ve not listened to in ages. Here’s a Casket Lottery side project, Jackie Carol, with their song “No Fiction”.

When you have to get your wife to the airport at 5am, that’s the best time to not be able to sleep.
Pretty hyped about there being a new Bone anthology, even if it doesn’t hit until September.
Oh boy, I’m going to be making serious use out of my AMC A-List subscription these next few weeks!
…and so on, and so on…
Do I know anyone with a New York Times subscription, and if so: do you still get ads in-app?
I’m sure this is such a “no duh” moment for many, but: blasting music you know and love really makes the workday zoom.
Hell of a game.
As a new fan of the Premier League, I have to say: their on-screen graphics + typography are out of this world.
Oh boy! New Nintendo Direct tomorrow!
I don’t know about y’all, but I’m gonna just keep calling this Brad.
Really enjoying Shrinking on Apple TV+. Gives me Scrubs x Ted Lasso vibes, which makes sense, as they’re all Bill Lawrence shows.
Also? Killer needle drops.
